The Podcasts I’m Listening To Right Now (Part 1)
As a homeschooling mom, I’m always looking for ways to stay informed and encouraged while juggling daily tasks. Podcasts have become a go-to for me, offering everything from biblical wisdom to news updates, all while I’m on the move. In this first part of my podcast list, I’ll share some of my favorite shows that keep me grounded spiritually and help me navigate today’s world with a Christian perspective.
1. The Matt Walsh Show
Matt Walsh tackles the toughest cultural issues from a conservative, faith-based perspective. His boldness in defending biblical values—especially on topics of family and morality—helps me stay informed on current events without compromising my beliefs. If you're looking for someone to speak truth in a world of confusion, this show is for you.
2. Enjoying the Journey with Scott Pauley
Scott Pauley’s daily messages are a breath of fresh air. His podcast focuses on enjoying the Christian life and walking closely with God. It’s a wonderful way to start the morning, offering bite-sized encouragement that keeps my heart focused on Christ throughout the day.
3. Family Conversations with Mark and Amy Herbster
For practical, biblical advice on parenting, I love tuning into Family Conversations. Mark and Amy Herbster offer tips and wisdom on how to raise godly children and foster meaningful conversations as a family. This podcast is perfect for parents looking to build a strong spiritual foundation in their homes.
4. Keeping It Young with Dave and Bethlie Young
Dave and Bethlie Young provide solid biblical counsel on marriage and parenting, with a focus on creating a Christ-centered home. Their candid discussions on marriage and family life are encouraging and relatable, making them one of my top go-tos for godly wisdom in everyday life.
5. Morning Wire by The Daily Wire
When I need quick, reliable news, Morning Wire is my first stop. It’s a concise podcast that gives me the headlines without the spin of mainstream media. It’s perfect for staying up to date while managing a busy household, helping me stay informed without sacrificing time or getting caught up in the negativity of traditional news outlets.
6. Raising Godly Girls Podcast by American Heritage Girls
As a mom to daughters involved in American Heritage Girls, I can’t recommend this podcast enough! It’s filled with advice on how to nurture faith and character in our girls. This show aligns perfectly with my desire to raise strong, confident, godly daughters, and provides biblical insight into how we can guide them on that journey.
